The Forge suite

Natural-language intent, GPU compute, and data intelligence

Three components built for each other — the geospatial stack for the agent era.

Forge Suite · The GIS Intent Compiler

ForgeMind

Natural language to validated GPU geospatial pipelines — or an honest refusal

ForgeMind is the natural-language control plane for ForgeGIS. It compiles a spoken or typed request into a validated, executed pipeline on the GPU-accelerated engine, and refuses by construction when a request cannot be honored correctly — never a plausible-but-wrong product. Built on a proprietary GIS Intent Compiler that confines the model to intent and hands everything that must be correct to deterministic machinery. LLM-agnostic; native to the Model Context Protocol in both directions.

ForgeGIS

GPU-accelerated geospatial compute & native MCP server — pure Java

239 user-facing operations across 11 geospatial categories, 237 callable by AI agents through a native Model Context Protocol server. Pure-Java Maven artifacts, no GDAL native bindings — the GPU-resident engine ForgeMind is purpose-built to drive. 9×–65× multi-stage pipeline speedups vs GDAL.

ForgeData

The data-intelligence layer — ask for data by intent

Cost-aware routing, a portable single-file GeoPackage catalog, and a 49-tool MCP surface that turn thirteen heterogeneous sources into one ranked answer — the best-fit correct dataset, with access cost as the deciding tiebreaker. Bundled with the Forge suite.

Worldwind Reforged — a community modernization

Worldwind Reforged is not a Seaglass Foundry product. It's a modernization of NASA's WorldWind that we maintain as a contribution back to the WorldWind community — updated for Java 17+, shader-based rendering, GPU-accelerated surface shapes, and a clean Maven build. Released open source under our Cannonforge banner.

Worldwind Reforged

A modernized Java 17+ build of NASA WorldWind, given back to the community

Shader-based rendering, GPU-accelerated surface shapes, full Maven build, and backwards compatibility with the original WorldWind Java API — a drop-in modernization for anyone still building on WorldWind. Source and releases on GitHub under our Cannonforge banner.
